More Hygienic & Sustainable than Wood

Wooden cutting boards retain moisture and bacteria, and require constant maintenance.

This Cutting Board solves this with an antibacterial design that doesn't absorb water and is easy to clean.

Safer & Microplastic-Free

Plastic cutting boards release microplastics into your food, an invisible risk to your health.

The Cutting Board is microplastic-free with its durable design made from antibacterial stainless steel.

Hygiene Meets Durability

  • Dual Function: Stainless steel for meat and fish, wheat straw for vegetables and fruit.

  • Hygienic & Safe: Antibacterial, odorless, microplastic-free, and easy to clean.

  • User-Friendly: Anti-slip feet and juice grooves keep your countertop clean.

  • Sustainable & Eco-Friendly: Built to last. Gentle to use and kind to the environment.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Will it dull my knives?

No, the stainless steel side is made with type 304 stainless steel, which has a hardness of about 15–20 HRC on the Rockwell C scale. For comparison, a standard ceramic kitchen knife has a hardness of 75+ HRC, and a professional Japanese knife can reach 60+ HRC. This means the stainless steel surface is much softer than your knife, preventing direct damage and helping your knives stay sharp longer with proper use.

Is the cutting board dishwasher safe?

Yes! Our cutting board is fully dishwasher safe and designed to withstand both high temperatures and intensive wash cycles. This makes cleaning extra easy.

But isn’t wood antibacterial?

Yes and no. Some types of wood have natural antibacterial properties, as long as they are properly maintained. Bacteria can seep into the wood fibers and die off over time, but this doesn’t automatically mean a wooden cutting board remains hygienic.

Wood absorbs moisture and juices, which can lead to bacteria buildup if the board isn’t dried properly.

- Cutting grooves can trap food residue, which is difficult to clean.

- Wood must be regularly treated with salt, lemon, or baking soda to keep it clean and odor-free.

- To prevent drying and cracking, wood should be treated with mineral oil or special cutting board oil.

- Wooden cutting boards should NOT be placed in the dishwasher, as heat and water can cause them to crack and warp.

What is the wheat straw side made of?

The wheat straw side is made of food-safe polypropylene and natural wheat straw fibers, a byproduct of wheat harvesting. This eco-friendly material gives a second life to wheat waste and provides a lightweight, sturdy, and durable cutting surface, perfect for everyday use.

What is the difference from a regular wooden or plastic cutting board?

Plastic boards release microplastics, and wooden boards absorb moisture and bacteria. This cutting board combines durability, hygiene, and safety, minimizing these drawbacks.

Is the cutting board BPA-free (free from Bisphenol A)?

Yes, our cutting board is BPA-free! The stainless steel side contains no harmful substances, and the wheat straw polypropylene (PP) side is specifically designed as a sustainable and safe alternative without BPA. Perfect for a healthy and eco-friendly kitchen!

Can I use both sides of the cutting board?

Yes! You can use both sides of the cutting board, each with a specific function:

  • Stainless Steel (SS) Side: Ideal for raw meat, fish, and poultry. Stainless steel is non-porous, meaning bacteria are less likely to accumulate, and it’s easy to clean.

  • Wheat Straw PP Side: Perfect for vegetables, fruits, and bread. This material is more durable than plastic and helps keep your knives sharp for longer.

Is this cutting board safe for people with gluten intolerance or celiac disease?

The wheat straw side of this cutting board is made from the straw of the wheat plant, not from the wheat kernel itself, where gluten is found.

During the manufacturing process, this material is processed and compressed at high temperatures, which breaks down any potential organic residues, including gluten.

As a result, the final product is essentially free from active gluten.

👉 For people with mild to moderate gluten intolerance, this should not be an issue.

However, if you have an extreme gluten sensitivity or celiac disease, we recommend consulting a doctor or specialist if you have any concerns. We are unable to provide medical advice on this matter.
